SUMMARY
Various industry and government actions are taking place. The factories are authorized to operate. The paint and / or construction materials stores depend on municipal authorizations, but in many places they are open. As an Association, we are working in two main directions: 1. Provide information and guidance to our members and the market in general; 2. Present proposals to the government (federal and regional), sometimes in conjunction with other sectoral associations, to reduce the damages of the pandemic on the industry (in topics such as credit, taxes, labor rules, authorizations for operation, picturesque emergency support) , etc.) In contacts with the government and with all interested parties, we are highlighting the essentiality of the paints we use for the most varied industries. We are also in the situation of raw materials (especially imported ones), so that supply problems do not occur. We also seek statistical information (or valuations) on the sales and production of paints.
